The company has decided to go out to the residents of Sopot and Gdańsk and ask what their heating needs are. The GPEC Group’s experts have spent 48 hours transferring detailed information regarding the issue of network development and possibility of connecting to it.

We care for the air quality in Pomerania

the GPEC Group and the Agency of Regional Air Quality Monitoring in the Gdańsk Metropolitan Area (ARMAAG) take care of air quality in the Tricity together - the GPEC car carries the ARMAAG experts to 9 measurement stations.

the Company together with the Municipal Office of Gdańsk have surveyed the residents of Gdańsk. 60 percent of them believe that in order to fight smog effectively, the buildings must be connected to the municipal heating network.

We educate the residents of Gdańsk and Sopot

the GPEC Group has run an education and information campaign "Change the way of heating! Choose the municipal heating network". Purpose? Improving the residents' awareness about the threats resulting from use of obsolete methods of heating.

the Company has built 6 bicycle stations in Tczewo and Sopot to encourage the residents to change their means of transport for a healthier and more eco-friendly ones.

We encourage physical activity

Bicycle rental centres for the GPEC Group’s employees have been built in 8 locations – in Gdańsk, Tczewo and Starogard Gdański. They can be used at will both during worktime, e.g. going to a meeting, and during free time.

8 sport teams have been set up in the GPEC Group, as requested by the employees. During the co-financed activities, the employees can practice: yoga, badminton, volleyball, football, cycling, running and other sports.

A fitness trainer works for the GPEC Group and conducts activities during worktime: from multi-sport, through yoga, to breathing classes.

We encourage rest

The company participates in the Polish nationwide action “2 hours”. Because there is no better reason for a Friday evening to be spent with loved ones.

In the Gpec Group, we work intensively, but also take more rest. The company provides employees with 4 additional days of holiday a year.

it's good that GPEC ensures gamification

A gamification platform set up by the company encourages competing for health and time with the family in an attractive manner. The employees perform tasks related to health and free time and collect points for them. The points can be exchanged for healthy prizes such as: blender for smoothies or air humidifier. There are over 385 active gamers participating in the game.

Team gamification is the company's latest idea for team game enthusiasts. The employees collect points as a team for burnt calories, puzzles, timed tasks. Weekly published ranking indicates who is the closest to winning the award in the form of spending free time together financed by the company.
